And is also available on the ECF calendar…
We have slashed entry fees to a much more affordable £10 (£9 for Under 18s/Over 65s & Unwaged) for all the weekend tournaments.
(This means of course that we have reduced prizes, too, but we feel that this change will benefit 90 percent of players, so we are keen to give this experiment a try.)
We have also added a FIDE-rated Blitz on Sunday, from 5pm-7pm, after the Classical tournaments finish. This comes after the popular event at The Chillingham in February, which shows there is a keen appetite for such FIDE-rated Blitz tournaments. Hopefully this will be a fun way to round off the weekend!
We look forward to seeing you there!
